Data Protection and UK GDPR Policy
How Corpshore UK Ltd meets its obligations under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Purpose and scope
This policy sets out how we handle personal data across our operations. It applies to all Corpshore UK Ltd employees, contractors and operations in the UK and Ireland.
Our principles
We process personal data lawfully, fairly and transparently. We collect it for specified purposes, keep it to the minimum needed, keep it accurate, retain it no longer than necessary, and protect its integrity and confidentiality. We are accountable for meeting these principles and can demonstrate it.
Controller and processor roles
Depending on the engagement, we act as a data controller or as a data processor on a client's instructions. Where we act as a processor we put a Data Processing Agreement in place, and we maintain Records of Processing Activities.
Data subject rights and breaches
We respond to data subject requests within the statutory timeframe. We have a procedure to detect, report and investigate personal data breaches, and we notify the ICO within 72 hours where a breach is likely to result in a risk to people's rights and freedoms.
Transfers, training and contact
We only transfer personal data outside the UK with a lawful mechanism and appropriate safeguards. Staff who handle personal data receive data protection training. For any data protection question, contact info@corpshore.co.uk.
