Xplan Advice Process and Implementation Specialist

Own the business-process side of an Xplan transformation: map advice workflows, remove manual effort and train advisers on the result. Paired with the Xplan Technical Architect, who owns the platform build.

  • Map end-to-end advice workflows as they actually run today across onboarding, reviews, SOA and ROA production and insurance advice
  • Redesign those workflows into best-practice processes that use Xplan automation rather than work around it
  • Build and maintain advice templates, word merge templates and compliance templates, with dynamic content that adapts to client and advice type
  • Own SOA and ROA wizard configuration from the process side, working with the technical architect on the underlying build
  • Partner with the technical architect to turn process requirements into wizard, rules, events and trigger configuration
  • Track and report the time saved and errors reduced after each workflow change
  • Train advisers, paraplanners and administrators, and maintain Xplan operating procedures

  • Minimum 5 years employed directly by Iress working specifically on Xplan, with a strong preference for 10 or more years. This is a mandatory bar, not a preference, so a candidate without direct Iress employment on Xplan does not meet it
  • Direct Iress experience in Xplan implementation, consulting, training, support or enterprise delivery, with an emphasis on advice process and business consulting
  • Expert knowledge of advice production and the full workflow from fact find through to SOA or ROA delivery
  • Experience with large financial planning groups and dealer groups, including change management across adviser teams
  • Able to redesign and optimise advice workflows without vendor assistance, and to document and train the business on the result
  • Fully remote and global. Candidates based in Australia are preferred but not required
  • Desirable: former Iress Solution Consultant, Senior Business Consultant, Implementation Specialist or Enterprise Consultant, plus experience running adviser training or change rollouts across a dealer group
